Breaking News Live Shot Production

Getting your breaking news lines live to the world has never been easier

Live shot production in London

Live shot production has been in our DNA since we started back in 2010. Whether it was working in remote locations around the world, feeding back footage via BGAN satellite transmission equipment, or plugging into a state-of-the-art satellite truck in cities across the globe, we’ve gone live for thousands of hours.

Live broadcasting is something we still love doing, and we’ve become very good at it.

Since we got our Dejero Gobox back in 2017, it has been busy with breaking news live shot production in London for broadcasters around the world. From breaking news, live interviews, show presentation or sending footage across the world. We’ve done it all in full broadcast quality.

We are able to be anywhere in London within a few hours, broadcasting with everything we need. Your live news presentation is then ready to get sent anywhere in the world. All we need is for you to route your IFB (Interruptible fold-back or return audio) to a phone line and dial the number we will provide.

You don’t even need your own dedicated Dejero receiver to take advantage of this service. With access to a global fibre network through “The Switch”, we can get your live shot around the world with minimal latency. (Extra costs will apply)

Please see the test cases below of two separate London live shot productions as examples:

Use cases: Live shot production via Dejero

Broadcaster with Dejero receiver

Network Ten Australia show “The Project” use our ability to uplink via Dejero to get High Definition live shots from London and around Europe.

By using their Dejero receiver, they can use ultra-low latency, down to under a second in ideal conditions. They also can send their studio IFB into their receiver, where it arrives in a clear digital signal to the crew and talent on the ground.

We’ve filmed live broadcast interviews this way with Ringo Starr, “Fatboy Slim”, Claire Foy, Kylie Minogue and Jamie Oliver.

Broadcaster without Dejero Receiver

France TV has come on board as users of our uplink abilities. We got a late call about shooting a live cross into their show “Stage 2”, with doubles champions Nicolas Mahut & Pierre-Hugues Herbert.

We scrambled to the site and got a fibre link from our receiver, to connect to their studio in Paris. It worked, and the production team were very happy with the result. The only thing we needed was the studio to call our on-site IFB phone for return audio.

Broadcast your live events to any network around the world

Broadcasting high-quality live video anywhere in the world is easier than ever before. We’ve been transmitting live pictures for twenty years, and the changes have been huge.

If you need a news conference sent live to your broadcast hub, a reporter live breaking the latest news, live TV interviews or a multi-camera live TV video production, we can do it.

We can get your footage anywhere around the world, from anywhere in London, the United Kingdom, or throughout Europe.
